Samuel Wedderburn has over thirty years international experience in environment and natural resources management, and climate change, including 18 years as a coordinator, team leader and technical specialist at the World Bank.
He has worked worldwide, particularly in small island states in the Caribbean and the Pacific, in Southeast Asia and West Africa. His specific expertise and experience includes managing the development and implementation of climate change adaptation projects in infrastructure, coastal areas, ecosystem protection, sustainable land management and agriculture. He has conducted numerous climate risk and vulnerability assessments and mainstreamed climate change into international organizations and government policies and programs. He was a member of the World Bank’s Global Expert Team on climate change adaptation.
